English airports sprang back into life today as UK airspace restrictions were relaxed. It was revealed yesterday evening that our aircraft can cope with the volcanic ash cloud much better than previously thought. Over the past week many hotels across England have been filled with stranded passengers, many hotels in London have had to turn away travellers due to lack of capacity, especially those closest to the airports.

There is a fear that if the situation again worsens, and denser ash clouds form, it could impact on England’s tourism this summer – or perhaps more British people will simply decide to holiday in England instead.
